Our Fight

Support of the activities of the Hellenic Sepsis Study Group (HSSG)
The HSSG is a scientific collaboration running research in 65 study sites centers (31 Departments of Internal Medicine; 3 Departments of Pulmonary Medicine; 6 Departments of Surgery; 25 Intensive Care Units) in Greece and Cyprus through the collection of clinical information and biosamples of patients with severe infections. Until today clinical data and samples of DNA/RNA/serum from more than 5,500 patients have been collected and stored in the biobank of the HISS. The support provided by the HISS comprises courier services, central lab, monitoring, collection of data, analysis of data and drafting of manuscripts.
